The provision and delivery of adult and community education (ACE) courses aimed at encouraging second chance learners to become more literate and numerate(digitally & non-digitally)
Research - encouraging rural Maori women back into learning, in ways that acknowledge their unique life circumstances as mothers, part time seasonal workers etc.
Exploring the development and creation of safe social learning environments such as edmodo.com for classrooms with the aim of doing something similar within ACE
Skills and Knowledge I am keen to share:
Implementing learner-centred ePortfolios in high schools
Setting up ACE in rural communities to support the improvement of digital & non-digital literacy & numeracy skills in second chance learners
